Information You Provide to Us

Account Information

When you create a EveryAnswer account, we collect the personal information you provide to us, such as your name, email address, personal website, and picture. If you enable phone based two-factor authentication, we collect a phone number and you agree to receive text messages from EveryAnswer to enable two-factor authentication when you login. Message and data rates may apply.

Payment Information

Where we sell products and services through the Services, we use third-party applications, such as the Apple App Store, Google Play App Store, Amazon App Store, and/or services such as Stripe to process your payments. These third-party applications will collect information from you to process a payment on behalf of EveryAnswer, including your name, email address, mailing address, payment card information, and other billing information. EveryAnswer does not receive or store your payment information, but it may receive and store information associated with your payment information (e.g., the fact that you have paid, the last four digits or your credit card information, and your country of origin).

Communication Information

We collect personal information from you such as email address, phone number, mailing address, and marketing preferences when you request information about the Services, register for our newsletter, or otherwise communicate with us.

Candidate Information

We may post job openings and opportunities on the Services. If you reply to one of these postings or otherwise provide us with your candidacy information, we will collect and process the information you provide to us.

Service Use Information

We collect information you provide to the Services for the purpose of providing the Services to you, which may include personal information such as information about your interactions with other users and any content you create or upload when using the Services.

Customer Service Information (including Training and Quality Assurance)

If you call or otherwise interact with EveryAnswer's sales, customer service or support personnel, we collect the information you provide to our representatives. In addition, we may record telephone calls or video conferences between you and our representatives for training or quality assurance purposes.

Educational Account Information

If you qualify for Educational Use, we may collect information relating to your school and curriculum, such as your school name, school mailing address, school website and proof of registration. Note that, as provided in our Terms of Service, you may only use the Services if you are old enough to consent (by yourself and not by a parent or guardian) to share your data under applicable law. For example, you must be 13 years or older under most United States’ law, or 16 years or older under California or European Union law. Users under the age of 13 may use the Services pursuant to an agreement we have with the student’s educational institution (see Children’s Information below).

Sweepstakes, Contests, Surveys and Events Information

In connection with sweepstakes, contests, surveys, conferences, and other events hosted, run or sponsored by us, you may provide information to us, or we may receive information about you, such as name, email address, mailing address, demographic data, and any information specific to the event.

Marketing Program and Co-Promotional Activities Information

In connection with applying to and participating in any marketing or partnership programs we may collect and process the information you provide to us, such as name, email address, mailing address, and any information specific to the program, to assess your suitability for participation and administer the program.

With your permission, we may also collect information about your operating system’s installed fonts in connection with providing the Services to you.

EveryAnswer Customers.

If you use our Services on behalf of, or in collaboration with, an organization (e.g., your employer), that organization may provide us with information about you so that we can provision your account.

Third Party Services and Organizations.

We may obtain information about you from other sources, including from third party services and organizations. If you choose to enable third party services, EveryAnswer may access and exchange Service Use Information, Account Information, and Technical Information with the third party on your behalf, in accordance with any permissions granted by you (including your Authorized User(s)). For example, if you access our Services through a third-party service, we may collect information about you from that third party service that you have made available via your privacy settings.

8. Contacting customers and prospective customers about products, services, developments and events we think may be of interest to you.

Legal Basis: In certain situations, we seek consent before sending marketing materials to individuals and in such cases consent is our lawful basis for sending marketing to you.

Where we do not obtain consent, we rely on our legitimate interests (to develop our products/services and grow our business) as our lawful basis for sending marketing materials to you.

Collaboration and Interaction within EveryAnswer Conversations

When users initiate conversations with our AI experts, they have the option to invite other users to join the conversation. By doing so, invited users gain access to the entire conversation history, which could include personal information. It's essential for users to be aware of the data they're sharing within these conversations, especially if they choose to involve others.

Administrative Access to Conversations

By default, admins do not have access to view individual user conversations. However, organizations can choose to enable this feature, allowing certain admins to view conversations. While the identity of the user isn't directly shown, there's potential for admins to deduce who the user might be based on the timing, context, or specific details within the conversation. Users should be informed if their organization has decided to enable this feature.

Public Availability of Conversations

Conversations within EveryAnswer are private and aren't available for public viewing. However, users have the capability to share conversation transcripts or screenshots externally. EveryAnswer has no control over such actions, so users should exercise caution when deciding to share any conversation details publicly.

Service Providers

EveryAnswer may collaborate with service providers to enhance its offerings. These collaborations could involve:(i) Enhancing EveryAnswer's platform and features;(ii) Delivering informational content or services;(iii) Marketing and promotional initiatives;(iv) Transaction processing;(v) Customer service assistance;(vi) IT and associated services;(vii) Distributing EveryAnswer's platform through different channels.

Organization and Administrator Relations

Organizations that utilize EveryAnswer can choose certain settings that affect user privacy. For instance, organizations can decide whether to allow certain administrators access to user conversations. Users should be informed about their organization's privacy settings and how it might affect their personal data.

You have the autonomy to decide and opt out of specific uses of your personal information when interacting with EveryAnswer.

Should you receive a marketing email that you didn't wish for from EveryAnswer, utilize the 'unsubscribe' link at the email's bottom. This will prevent any future marketing emails. However, you'll still get transaction-related emails about services or products you've inquired about. Moreover, there are essential non-promotional communications regarding EveryAnswer and its services which you'll continue to receive, and these aren't available for opt-out (like updates to our Services, Terms of Service, or Privacy Policy).

While EveryAnswer doesn't respond to "Do Not Track" signals, we respect and recognize "Global Privacy Consent" directives from specific browsers. If such a signal is identifiable to a user, we will interpret it as a request to refrain from sharing or selling the user's personal information, especially as defined by data protection acts like the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Currently, EveryAnswer does not engage in the sale of personal information of Nevada residents as defined by the Nevada Revised Statutes. Please contact us with the subject line “Nevada Do Not Sell Request” and provide both your name and the email address associated with your EveryAnswer account.

Protecting Minors

The EveryAnswer services are not intended for children under 13, or under 16 in certain jurisdictions, including California and the EU. Except in specific cases detailed below, we do not deliberately collect personal information from children. If it comes to your attention that your child has provided us with their personal data without your consent, you may get in touch with us as detailed later. Should we become aware that we have inadvertently gathered a child’s personal information contrary to relevant law, we will act promptly to delete that information and, if necessary, terminate the child's account or seek written consent from the child’s guardian.

Exhibit A – Supplemental Privacy Policy for Children

This supplementary policy is specific to the collection, utilization, and disclosure of personal information from children under the age of thirteen in the United States and Canada who are students of educational institutions that use EveryAnswer (referred to as "Children"). This supplement is an extension of EveryAnswer’s general Privacy Policy and is designed to inform parents, guardians, and educational institutions (collectively termed "Responsible Parties") about:

  1. The nature of personal information EveryAnswer may collect from Children.
  2. The ways in which EveryAnswer uses the personal data it collects from Children.
  3. EveryAnswer’s practices concerning the disclosure of a child’s personal data.
  4. The mechanisms through which a Responsible Party may request access to, modification of, or deletion of the personal information EveryAnswer has collected from Children.

If an educational institution in the U.S. or Canada contracts with EveryAnswer to offer the services to its students, EveryAnswer relies on that institution to secure consent from each child's parent or guardian. This is after making this notice available and obtaining verifiable consent from the child’s parent or guardian, in line with this Supplemental Privacy Policy for Children. Any discrepancies between this policy and the main Privacy Policy will be governed by this supplemental policy.

Personal Information EveryAnswer Collects from Children

EveryAnswer exclusively collects personal information from a child as part of creating or managing the child's account and when they utilize the services linked to their account. This could include their full name, email address, IP address, photo (if uploaded by the child for a profile), phone number (if two-factor authentication is activated), and educational records or details given by the school. Moreover, if a child communicates with EveryAnswer for support or other reasons, we might collect personal information in that context.

How EveryAnswer Uses Children’s Personal Information

EveryAnswer utilizes personal data from children solely for the purpose of delivering its services.
